104-Year-Old Veteran Who Wanted "One More Vote" For Trump Gets Unexpected Presidential Birthday Surprise

A World War II veteran's simple TikTok birthday wish to his "favorite president" just came true in the most extraordinary way.

A Birthday Wish Goes Viral
Denver Moore isn't your average TikTok sensation.
At 104 years old, the Ohio resident and World War II veteran has lived through 18 presidents and countless historical moments.
But there was one particular birthday wish he had this year — to meet the man he calls his "favorite president."
In March, Moore's family helped him record a simple video invitation that would soon capture the nation's attention.

"President Trump… I'm gonna be 104 in May, and I'm inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton," Moore said in the heartfelt video.
Then came the line that resonated with so many: "I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more."
The video quickly went viral, amassing nearly 900,000 views and touching hearts across America and beyond.
A Century of Service and Wisdom
Moore's life story reads like a chapter of American history.
He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II before coming home to work for the U.S. Postal Service.

For 75 years, he was married to his beloved wife Thelma Lee, who passed away in 2022 at age 95. Together, they raised three children.
Despite his advanced age, those close to Moore say he remains mentally sharp and physically active — perhaps the secret to his remarkable longevity.
"I was always active, doing something. I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm. We did everything. And if we didn't have anything to do, we created something. So it's just this: stay active," Moore explained.
He added with a smile, "Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life."
From TikTok to the White House
As Moore's birthday video spread across social media, something remarkable began to happen.
People from across the United States — and even as far away as Africa — began reaching out to the centenarian.

Birthday cards flooded in. Messages of support multiplied.
"It's been quite a ride," Moore told Fox News Digital in April.
But the biggest surprise was still to come.
Rep. Michael Rulli, R-Ohio, who represents Moore's district, saw the viral video and was deeply moved.
"I was struck not only by the incredible milestone of his life but also by his deep sense of patriotism and service," Congressman Rulli said. "I was even more surprised to learn that this remarkable WWII veteran was a resident at a facility right in my district."
The congressman decided to take action, reaching out directly to the White House.
The Presidential Surprise
On Thursday, Moore's 104th birthday, Rep. Rulli arrived at Danbury Senior Living facility in Massillon, Ohio with something special.

Despite being in the midst of a historic Middle East tour — his first visit to the United Arab Emirates in nearly 20 years — President Trump had taken the time to record a personal birthday message for the veteran.
Moore watched intently as the video began to play.
"Hi, Denver!" Trump said warmly. "I want to wish you a very happy 104th birthday from your all-time favorite president. That's me, Donald Trump."
The president continued, "I'm sorry we weren't able to get to your party. I would love to get to your party, but I'm working on Russia, Ukraine, China, and all sorts of other places, and I know you want us to do well."
Trump concluded with heartfelt gratitude: "I want just to thank you for your incredible service to our nation and for your support for making America great again. A very, very special man you are, and happy birthday."

After watching the video, Moore's reaction was priceless. With characteristic humor, he quipped about Trump fulfilling his birthday wish: "Couldn't happen to a nicer guy."
Moore, a longtime supporter of Trump, has previously stated he agrees with most of the president's actions, saying, "He may make a mistake or two, but he's doing most everything right."
Congressman Rulli reflected on the special moment: "His life and service are a testament to the spirit of our nation, and I'm proud we could celebrate him in such a meaningful way."
For a 104-year-old veteran who has witnessed nearly a century of American history, this birthday surprise might just be the most memorable yet — a personal connection with the president he hopes to vote for "one more time."
